JL: I’ve been a part of a few, the most recent being the Naughty 9 collection of sizzling romantic suspense. ?It has ten stories in it and made the USA Today list. ?It was a wonderful experience.

JL: I saw a call for authors who had stories with a certain kind of heroes and one was “rock star/musician.” ?It reminded me of a short story I’d written a while back that I hadn’t done much with since I first published it. ?I loved this story and wanted it to reach a wider audience. ?I contacted the organizer to offer it as a bonus story, since it was shorter than the others. ?They accepted my offer…so here I am!

Writing the foreword was my favorite part! ?It was an honor to be asked and it gave me a chance to say some things about the romance genre and romance readers that I wanted to say.

“How You Remind Me” has one of my favorite tropes in it–amnesia! ?It’s about a couple who spent an amazing night together, but for “reasons,” she doesn’t remember any of it. ?He desperately wants to remind her, but if he does, she’ll have to face a lot of bad stuff along with the good. ?So he comes up with a great way to “spark” her memory.
