The 12 Days of Christmas with Author Natasha Brown

Welcome to Day 8 of our 12 Days of Christmas E-book Giveaway!

Today we have Author Natasha Brown with us:

From Tasha:

Two years ago we brought home the perfect (living) tree from our local home improvement store. While it thawed in my living room and we pulled out our ornaments, little did we know some visitors were defrosting as well. We began to find them throughout the house, their red and spotty black armor shiny from the frost. Ladybugs continued to be found for weeks and every time I found one, I?d pop it into a small container and put it in the fridge. It was certainly not the time of year to throw them in the snow, so while they slept, dormant in their Tupperware home, the seasons changed and come spring, I released our holiday friends outside. It is a funny holiday memory that I will remember for a very long time.

Books by Natasha Brown:

Fledgling (The Shapeshifter Chronicles Book 1):? B006XM426C

Set apart from other eighteen year olds, Ana Hughes knows she is different. A life threatening heart condition smothers her future and she yearns to feel normal. Her hopes are pinned on a fresh start in a remote town far from her native Colorado. Among the locker filled hallways in Clark Bend High, Ana keeps to the shadows, not wanting to draw attention to her violet tinged lips and wilted silhouette. And she almost succeeds, until she meets Chance Morgan.

Struggling to keep up appearances, she soon suspects Chance is hiding something as well. His animal-like senses, miraculous healing ability and peculiar reaction to her Thunderbird necklace compels Ana to question if there’s more to the stories about his Navajo ancestry. Without any other explanation, she fears he is playing tricks on her. But the truth may prove too much for Ana’s delicate heart…

Prodigy (The Shapshifter Chronicles Book 2): B00A8NXY8E

The adventure continues for Chance and Ana in book 2 of The Shapeshifter Chronicles

In Clark Bend, Idaho, Chance Morgan’s dreams are haunted by the last moments shared with his grandfather. Memories of the fateful day when he died plague his thoughts, and without his grandfather’s council, his shapeshifting powers mysteriously fail him. Desperate to seek out a new mentor and learn more about the mystical world he was sheltered from, Chance must travel far from home to hunt for answers.

Eighteen-year-old, Ana Hughes has only known Chance for a few months, but he quickly found his way into her heart. Since being rescued from Chance’s power-hungry cousin, and coming back from death, Ana is unwilling to leave his side, and joins him on his quest to the Yucatan in search of a new mentor.

When Chance’s memories fall into place and reveal a threat from their past, Chance and Ana must fight to survive – or die trying.

The Unfortunate Beginning (The Novel Adventures of Nimrod Vale):?B00E9CAIZM

Nimrod Vale is convinced he is the unluckiest twelve-year-old alive. Life is hard when your name doubles as an insult, but he finds it is even worse when your mom dies. Nim is forced to stay with his only living relative, his Aunt Holly in Portland, Oregon. After settling in, he is ready to get lost in a good book, except his bad luck gets in the way when he tips a cup of steaming coffee onto his tablet. While his most prized possession is being repaired, Nim grows anxious to start writing one of his own stories, so his aunt sends him to the attic in search of his grandpa’s treasured fountain pen.

An accidental discovery reveals a desolate world that he thought only existed on the pages of his paper. Nim prefers to pretend it never happened, and hide away in the school library. There he meets a loner named Pepper who gives him no choice but to be his friend, but when she discovers what he has been hiding, she forces his hand. Nim then must choose to step up and help the fictional war-torn land or turn his back on the people who need him most.
